President of the AN held a meeting with an EU delegation

The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, held a meeting this Thursday with representatives of the European Union (EU) to advance a work agenda aimed at institutional dialogue.

Rodríguez reported that the meeting was attended by Pelayo Castro, Adriana Vázquez and Maria Antonia Calvo Puerta and indicated that the exchange allowed us to agree on lines of cooperation and review issues related to joint development.

“We had a productive meeting with representatives of the European Union. Within the framework of the permanent dialogue, we established a work agenda for productive development,” he said.

The head of Parliament affirmed that Venezuela ratified its will to maintain a relationship based on respect and the construction of cooperation mechanisms.

The meeting took place after several contacts held this year between delegations of the Venezuelan Government and representatives of the European Bloc accredited in the country.
