The Emilio Gimón Sterling Educational Complex in La Guaira is progressing 70% of its reconstruction after the earthquake of June 24 and is consolidating itself as a safe space for the next generations.

The institution, with more than 40 years of operation, registered damage during the seismic event and is now progressing thanks to soil studies and engineering works that guarantee stability and protection.

The project has reached 70% of execution and is emerging as a modern complex with 32 classrooms, dining room, computer rooms, laboratory, library and new air conditioning, which will ensure adequate conditions for learning and student well-being.

The Venezuelan State's public policies promote the recovery of school infrastructure and support education as a fundamental right in every community.

“Together with Sterling, we are rehabilitating 120 schools in La Guaira and we reaffirm that education and social protection of our people are the priority,” says the Government's Instagram post.
