Within the framework of the Venezuela Renace Plan, the comprehensive rehabilitation of the Eyular National Preschool, in the Ocumare municipality of the Gold Coast, is progressing steadily.
The initiative, promoted by the guidelines of the National Executive, addresses and repairs educational infrastructures that were affected by the earthquakes that occurred in the country on June 24.
The inspection and staffing day at the campus was led by the governor of Aragua, Johana Sánchez, accompanied by the Minister of Popular Power for University Education, Ana María San Juan; the Secretary General of Government, Belén Arteaga; and the mayor of the Ocumare municipality of the Gold Coast, Wilmer Leal.
During the tour, the authorities inspected the significant progress of the work and made the formal delivery of the necessary construction materials to accelerate the early reactivation of the preschool.
The president of Aragüeña stressed that since last Saturday, October 10, a multidisciplinary team has been deployed there to carry out the recovery and beautification of this institution, which serves more than 400 boys and girls.
For her part, the Secretary General of Government, Belén Arteaga, highlighted the effectiveness of the government's response: “We are delivering the materials at the request of the representatives. In less than 15 days we have received the most beautiful response, articulating efforts to embellish a space that our boys and girls deserve. Soon we will be able to show the complete and comprehensive recovery of this wonderful space for educational management in the Gold Coast.”
