Registrations for Uracoa Carnival 2024 have started

Through the social network Instagram, the Mayor's Office of Uracoa Municipality, Monagas state, announced that registrations for the floats, troupes, the candidates for the reign of the traditional festivities and costumes of the 2024 Carnival parades in the town, will be available until January 31.

In this regard, according to information from Venezolana de Televisión, Mayor Evelin Martínez stressed that from February 10 to 13, the streets of the entity, located south of Monagas, will be filled with music and contagious joy, so that everyone can join the celebration.

He also noted that this year the festivities will feature their characteristic parades, dances, music and extravagant costumes.

At the same time, he explained that on February 10, the election and coronation of queens will take place in the mini, children and youth categories, an event that will take place in the annex to Plaza Bolívar in the town, starting at 7:00 p.m. While on the 11th, 12th and 13th there will be parades of floats, troupes and costumes, whose registrations can be made at the Casa de la Cultura.

For this reason, the governor of Monagas, Ernesto Luna, the mayor of the Uracoa municipality, the Department of Culture and the Municipal Tax Administration Service Uracoa (SERMATUR) extended the invitation to participate in this celebration full of music, joy and tradition.
