The governor
of the state of Bolívar, Yulisbeth García, carried out an inspection this Thursday of the asphalting
works being carried out on Troncal 10, specifically on the
stretch that connects the municipalities of Caroní and Piar.
During the
tour of the Palo Grande sector, accompanied by mayors Yanny Alonzo and
Ornella Arbeláez, the regional president reported that in the last two months more than 32,000 tons of asphalt have
been placed, consolidating one of the most important road rehabilitation fronts in the
state.
“Out of love for
Bolivar, we have made significant progress in recovering our
trunks. This is a direct action by President Nicolás Maduro, with the
support of Vice President Delcy Rodríguez and the Minister of Transportation,
Ramón Velásquez Araguayán,” said García.
The governor
explained that Troncal 10 has an extension of more than 560 kilometers, from
Caroní to Santa Elena de Uairén, and that there are currently active
work fronts in Caroní, Piar, Padre Pedro Chien, Roscio, El Callao and
Sifontes, with the objective of moving towards the border with Brazil.
García also
highlighted that this plan not only strengthens road safety, but also represents
a strategic pillar for the economic, tourist and industrial development of the Bolivar
state. He added that the works are part of the 7 Transformations
promoted by the National Executive, aimed at consolidating the country's
comprehensive development.
He also indicated
that the progress of the plan has been significant in different sections of
trunks 10, 12, 16 and 19, with the active presence of heavy machinery and
technical equipment that guarantee the durability of each work.
“We are fulfilling what we promised, demonstrating that street management and institutional coordination are key to resolving and moving forward. Bolívar deserves decent roads and we are here to guarantee it,” the governor concluded.
