This Saturday, June 27, the president of
the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, recalled that a registry
was opened at the Caracas Polyhedron for those who wish to register as volunteers to
help the affected population in La Guaira.
In this regard, he stressed that so far 2,697 people have been registered, who will be transferred to the coastal
entity to help care for people affected by last Wednesday's
earthquakes.
“I wanted to remind you that in the Polyhedron of
Caracas there is a center for registering
volunteers who are going to be, in an orderly manner, taken to the state of La Guaira
at this exact time 1:22 in the afternoon, 2,697 have registered,” he said.
He also indicated that the volunteers will be transported in convoy vehicles and are now ready to go to La Guaira.
