Rodríguez: To date, 432 seismic events have been recorded in the country

Since the two earthquakes that shook the country on June 24 and to date, 432 seismic events have been recorded in the country, said the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez.

During a balance sheet offered at noon this Saturday, he explained that 7 states in the country have been affected by these earthquakes, with La Guaira the most affected. “That's why this town is totally militarized,” he said.

In this regard, he reiterated the call to the population to avoid going to the central coast and, if they so wish, to hand over their donations or collaborations to the collection centers set up by the Bolivarian Government in the country.

“Avoid going down to the state of La Guaira in order to facilitate the work of rescuing people under the rubble, which is a work against the clock and in which every second counts,” he stressed.

In the same way, the president of the parliament thanked Venezuelans for the immense displays of generosity and compassion they have given so far and urged those who want to help in the rescue work to register in the polyhedron for this purpose and to be able to collaborate in an orderly manner.
