On Monday, the Russian air defense system intercepted 10 RM-70 Vampire multiple rocket launcher projectiles launched by Ukraine over the territory of the province of Belgorod.
In a statement, the Ministry of Defense of the Eurasian nation reported that Ukrainian authorities tried to carry out a terrorist attack against facilities located on Russian territory.
The local governor, Viacheslav Gladkov, wrote on his Telegram channel that, according to preliminary data, three people were injured.
In addition, he indicated that the event caused damage to several residential buildings and vehicles in the city of Belgorod.
