This Sunday, the Russian Armed Forces attacked decision-making centers and military installations in the Ukrainian city of Kharkov, located in the homonymous region, in response to the Kiev bombing of the Russian city of Belgorod.
“Yesterday, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a multiple rocket launcher attack against Belgorod, killing civilians, including children. In response to this terrorist act, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation attacked decision-making centers and military installations in Kharkov used by the criminal regime in Kiev,” the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
The text states that members of the Armed Forces and the military intelligence service of Ukraine who “were directly involved in the planning and execution of the terrorist attack” against the Russian city were liquidated.
In addition, it points out that around 200 foreign mercenaries who “were going to participate in terrorist incursions” into Russian territories bordering Ukraine were eliminated.
As for military infrastructure, Russian forces bombed the building of the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU), in Kharkov, with high-precision missiles, and the temporary deployment point of the nationalist Right Sector formation (declared an extremist group and banned in Russia), while in the Khmelnitsky region, high-precision attacks hit a branch of the national space control center, used by Ukrainians for the purpose of recognition.
