Saab prosecutor announces arrest of partner of Canadian drug trafficker Jimmy Cournoyer

The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, reported that Federica Arrieta, who is a partner of Canadian drug trafficker Jimmy Cournoyer, was arrested in Caracas, according to preliminary investigations carried out by the Public Ministry (MP).
This was reported by Saab, through his account on the social network X, in which he indicated that Arrieta will also be charged with money laundering and association to commit crimes.
In the message, she stressed that she was “apprehended to be charged by the Public Ministry of the AMC (Metropolitan Area of Caracas), Federica Arrieta: for the crimes of drug trafficking, money laundering and association to commit crimes.”
He explained that the investigations show that the criminal was acting in Venezuela as Cournoyer's partner, “known in the underworld of drug trafficking as the King of Marijuana.”
Saab noted that the Canadian is serving a sentence in the United States for drug trafficking and despite that, he “maintained permanent telephone contact with women” to distribute drugs and legitimate capital.
