Scientists join the defense of Venezuela's sovereignty and peace by saying “I enlist”

The Minister of Popular Power for Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez, reported that workers from the National System of Science, Technology and Innovation (SNCTI) have joined the process of enlisting the Bolivarian Militia, in response to President Nicolás Maduro's call in the face of imperialist threats.

“Homeland scientists and researchers are present to defend sovereignty, ethical values and national identity,” Jiménez said, stressing the sector's commitment to civic-military-police unity and peace.

He stressed that this day reaffirms the legacy of the Liberator Simon Bolivar and the thinking of Commander Hugo Chávez, in defense of the freedom of the peoples of the South.
