Second school term started this Monday with total normality

This Monday, January 8, the second phase of the 2023-2024 school term began, with complete normality, said the Minister for Education, Yelitze Santaella.

“Today we begin the second pedagogical moment of the year 2024 and this new moment begins with all normality and that is how we give the warmest welcome to our children and young people,” he said from the Pedro Eligio Méndez Educational Complex.

In addition, the minister who recognized the commitment demonstrated by teachers to ensure the continuity of academic activities.

During the activity, reported by Venezolana de Televisión, the minister highlighted that the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health (BRICOMILES) have rehabilitated 54% of the country's educational institutions, and 78% of those located in Caracas.

In statements offered to VTV, he explained that by 2024, the institutional commitment to advance in the rescue of the country's educational infrastructure is maintained.
