The Bolivarian Government closed the south side of the Caraballeda bridge due to significant damage

The Minister of Popular Power for Transportation (MPPT), Jacqueline Faria, reported that this Monday, June 29, significant damage was detected in the southern structure of the Caraballeda bridge, in the state of La Guaira.

On his social networks, he specified that “we inspected the Caraballeda bridges (North and South sides), located in the state of La Guaira.”

“After the evaluation, we detected significant effects on the Southern structure as a result of the earthquakes that have been taking place in the country,” he said.

For this reason, he announced that “as a result, we proceeded to the preventive closure of the South side and diverted vehicle traffic to the Osorio bridge, maintaining controlled mobility.”

“Venezuela doesn't stop! We continue to guarantee the safe mobility of our people,” he emphasized.
