The Bolivarian Government makes available the 0800-AYUDA01 telephone line for psychological care

This Sunday, June 28, the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, reported that they have made available the 0800-AYUDA01 telephone line to provide psychological care to the people affected by last Wednesday's earthquakes.

“Starting this afternoon, we will have available to everyone the 0800-AYUDA01 telephone line, which together with a group of psychologists, psychologists and psychiatric psychologists will be answering the telephone calls of any Venezuelan or Venezuelan woman who calls there and who wants to receive some type of psychological support, talk or that can be referred, if the case warrants it, to other institutions,” he said.

He noted that, after the seismic events, there are a significant number of people who are presenting “anxiety, grief, sadness and the so-called post-traumatic stress syndrome”.

He stressed that today we are all victims of the two earthquakes of last June 24, so the psychological damage that millions of people may be suffering is normal.
