A multidisciplinary commission of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), made up of engineers, specialists and doctors, is maintained in La Guaira, providing scientific cooperation for carrying out structural diagnostics of housing, risk assessments and in guiding recovery efforts in a comprehensive and safe manner.
This was reported by the head of the Science portfolio, Gabriela Jiménez, who highlighted that these specialists work hand in hand with the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) to provide first-hand care to the Venezuelan people.
“When the People, their armed forces and science work together, we demonstrate our unwavering ability to overcome any adversity with effectiveness and empathy. We will continue to redouble all our efforts and add capacities to embrace, protect and lift up Guairian families,” Jiménez said in a post on his Telegram channel.
