The Single Housing Registry has a total of 45,29 families registered after the earthquakes of June 24, reported the Minister of Habitat and Housing, Paola Posani, who specified that the updated cadastre also counts 144,812 people.

“That's why we made the single register of people affected by the earthquake. Why is this important? Because of those 45,29 that were registered, which are homes, that register gives us 144,812 people who are registered,” said the official.

Among the results of the cadastre, the minister highlighted that more than 16,000 families expressed their willingness to move from Caracas or La Guaira to other states of the country.

Posani, in statements replicated by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), explained that this decision is related to family ties and the availability of housing in entities such as Monagas, Yaracuy, Boconó and Machiques.

The minister pointed out that this mobility of families represents an element that must be considered in housing planning and in the care of services in the areas to which the population moves.

Posani recalled that the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, set as a goal by the end of the year the construction of 4,000 homes, of which 528 have been delivered.
