The Single Registry for the Development of Economic Activities will be valid indefinitely

The National Superintendency for the Defense of Socioeconomic Rights (SUNDDE) reported that the certificate of the Single Registry of Persons Engaging in Economic Activities (RUPDAE) will become effective indefinitely, thus eliminating its expiration date.

Henceforth, this legal document, which is part of the mandatory procedures for the country's commercial and industrial sector, will no longer require periodic renewal.

In a statement released by SUNDDE and replicated by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), it is explained that this change seeks to strengthen the simplification of administrative procedures and provide greater legal and operational stability to the country's commercial sector.

“Its validity becomes indefinite, which guarantees effective administrative simplification and consolidates the legal and operational stability of the entire commercial sector of the nation,” the statement said.

On the other hand, SUNDDE explained that this document should only be updated on a mandatory basis by companies, businesses and industries in case of modifying their Tax Information Register (RIF).

According to the entity, this measure complies with the provisions of article 10 of the Law for the Speed and Optimization of Administrative Procedures, a standard published in Official Gazette No. 7,018 Extraordinary of April 8, 2026.

This legal standard instructs the public administration to streamline its procedures to ensure efficient responses with the integration of technological tools that eliminate duplication of requirements and simplify each management.
