Transitory Disposal Center in Caraballeda can process 600 tons of debris per hour

The Transitional Disposal Center located in Caraballeda, La Guaira state, has a capacity to process debris and vestige materials from affected areas following the seismic double of last June 24 of 600 tons per hour for.

The operational deployment takes place in an area of 8 hectares and includes 27 heavy equipment in the yard and 150 qualified workers including engineers, technicians, mechanics, machine operators, administrative and logistics personnel who work double shifts to accelerate work, reports the Ministry of People's Power for Public Works.

The main objective is to protect the marine ecosystem and the beaches of the Guaireña entity, the center maintains a strict protection strip of ten meters from the coastline and uses machinery with extension arms to intervene in the lowest points of the coast without impacting the shore.
