This Friday, during an operational assessment of the Health System carried out through a direct link with the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, Dr. José Gregorio Rincón Nigro, director of the Vargas Hospital in Caracas, provided details on the positive impact that investment policies in this area have had on the care of critical cases.

“I can tell you that half of these patients are acute patients, we have directly saved the lives of patients who arrive at this hospital with acute myocardial infarctions,” said Dr. Rincón Nigro and emphasized the institution's capacity for immediate response, stressing that the hospital has become a bastion for treating acute pathologies.

He also described the scope of these interventions as “extraordinary” from the perspective of the public investment mandate, highlighting the commitment of medical personnel to the execution of these highly complex procedures that restore well-being to Venezuelan families.

The director took the opportunity to confirm his commitment to public health management and the continuity of modernization projects. “I hope to continue counting and I am sure to count on your support to continue working and doing our bit from this hospital,” he said and also recognized institutional support as a fundamental element for the optimal functioning of intensive care and cardiology units.

Finally, Rincón Nigro linked the achievements achieved with the effectiveness of the 1x10 Good Governance platform, which allows a direct connection with the needs of the people. “Here we are moving forward with the plan, health and life with achievements that are so tangible in practice and that also involve a number of 1x10 people who are solving their problem, but also that we are saving lives.”
