The Deputy Minister for Latin America, Rander Peña, held a meeting this Thursday, the 11th, with the Colombian ambassador to Venezuela, Milton Rengifo, in order to strengthen relations between the two nations.

Through his account on the social network X, Peña indicated that the meeting reviewed the cooperation map and the agreements that have been reached between the two nations.

“We held a meeting with the Colombian Ambassador to Venezuela, Milton Rengifo, we reviewed the extensive binational cooperation map, and the Presidents @ NicolasMaduro and @ Petrogustavo have asked for maximum attention and follow-up in the execution of each of the agreements. We are moving forward!” , he said.

Since the arrival of Gustavo Petro to the Presidency in Colombia, Venezuela gradually re-established its diplomatic and commercial relations with the neighboring country, with the opening of the border.
