Venezuela and Congo move towards holding a Joint Commission

The foreign minister, Yván Gil, held a meeting this Monday with his counterpart from the Republic of Congo, Jean-Claude Gakosso.

Through his Telegram channel, Gil specified that both diplomats agreed “on the importance of continuing to strengthen bilateral cooperation and to move forward with the early realization of the joint commission that will be essential to consolidate alliances between our nations.”

In addition, on behalf of the Bolivarian Government, the head of diplomatic relations ratified Venezuela's willingness to “work together in new areas of collaboration and to continue to articulate efforts in multilateral spaces of common interest.”
