As part of the commemoration of the 24th anniversary of the Rescue of National Dignity and the Day of the Bolivarian National Militia, the Mobilization Secretariat of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) has organized a day of marches in Caracas.
This date is of fundamental historical importance, since it celebrates the return to power of Commander Hugo Chávez after the coup d'etat of the fascist extreme right, an event that consolidated the civic-military union in defense of sovereignty.
The deployment includes three different routes to facilitate popular participation. The first exit starts from the Alí Primera Park (2.5 km); the second starts at the Cantv headquarters on Libertador Avenue (2.8 km); and the third, from the Inces of Nueva Granada Avenue, covers 3.7 km. Each route has been designed to travel through key road arteries such as Sucre Avenue, Universidad Avenue and the La Hoyada sector.
Along the route, they will pass through Plaza Morelos, Capitolio and the Liceo Fermín Toro. These axes of mobilization allow for a fluid integration of the people from different sectors of the capital city, who will reaffirm the patriotic commitment and the historical legacy of the rescue of the democratic institutions that this anniversary represents.
On the stairs of Calvary, the central event of the day will take place. This emblematic point of arrival will serve as the epicenter of the rally, where citizens and authorities are expected to close the activity celebrating the 24th anniversary of the return of the constitutional thread in an environment of unity and national determination.
