The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, called on Monday for national unity to build a sustainable future for the well-being of all.

“I am calling on them to build a true, sustainable future for the country's workers and that allows for balanced growth, that allows us to recover installed industrial capacities in Venezuela,” he said during the installation of the National Dialogue Table for Labor and Social Consensus.

He stressed that the Bolivarian Government is “fated” receiving investors, reaching agreements (...) to create more employment, to have income in line with workers' rights”, so it is necessary to “rebuild a model that was completely undermined by the economic blockade against Venezuela.”

“It's been terrible that Venezuela doesn't deserve to continue to be sanctioned. That is a battle that we have to achieve victory in the National Union. I ask for the support of all of you, this is not my individual fight. I ask for the support of the business sector, I ask for the support of the workers, that we go together, without a partisan, political position or anything, but the defense of Venezuela.”
