Venezuela received a shipment of humanitarian aid from Romania

Early this Friday morning, Venezuela received a significant shipment of humanitarian aid together with a contingent of rescue workers from Romania.

The aid was received by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Asia, the Middle East and Oceania, Andrea Corao, who pointed out that this new group of rescuers is joining the brigades from other European Union countries that are already deployed in La Guaira.

He also thanked, on behalf of the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, and the Venezuelan people, for the solidarity shown: “our hearts are filled with hope when we see the help that the European Union has sent.”

The shipment includes a batch of supplies, including heavy-duty tents, sleeping bags, mattresses, sheets and a supply of essential medicines to strengthen the primary care network.
