Venezuela thanks the arrival of Cuban rescuers who join the search after earthquakes

The Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, thanked the arrival of Cuban rescuers who are joining the search after the earthquakes that shook the country on June 24.

“The Bolivarian Government and the people of Venezuela express their deep gratitude to the group of Cuban rescuers who have arrived to support the intense search for people trapped in the rubble that continues day and night,” Gil said on his Telegram channel.

He stressed that this valuable team, announced by the foreign minister of the Antillean nation, Bruno Rodríguez, “joins the Cuban medical brigade that was already in our country as part of the deep ties of solidarity that have always characterized our nations.”
