Venezuelan Film Museum announces photographic exhibition Mérida en Foco

The José Manuel Funes Film Museum of Venezuela, located in the Tulio Febres Cordero Cultural Center, invites Venezuelan and foreign photographers, professionals and amateurs, to participate in the exhibition Mérida en Foco, which seeks to show the beauty of the Andean entity through images captured at any time.

The visual proposals may address topics such as landscapes, nature, people, traditions, portraits, documentaries, sports and culture. Those interested should send the photograph in medium-low quality, with a resolution of 150 dots per inch (dpi), to the museum's official email with the subject “Mérida en Foco”, indicating the name of the work and its location. The reception of papers will be open until October 6.

The jury, made up of photographers with extensive experience in the region, will select images that meet the technical, narrative and aesthetic characteristics to be exhibited in the room. The opening of the exhibition is scheduled for October 29 at the museum's headquarters.
