Venezuelan Foreign Ministry accompanies delivery of a US donation to Vargas Hospital

The First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Oliver Blanco, accompanied the delivery to the “José María Vargas” Hospital in Caracas of medical equipment and supplies donated by Project CURE, a registered trademark of the Benevolent Healthcare Foundation, a non-profit humanitarian organization in the United States (USA).
The also Deputy Minister for Europe and North America specified, through a post on his social networks, that medical equipment and supplies were donated and that the endowment was supported by the U.S. Department, the Venezuelan American Medical Association (VAMA) and Caritas of Venezuela.
In detail, the U.S. Embassy in Venezuela indicated that “surgical, traumatology, gynecology and patient transfer equipment were donated, as well as respiratory supplies and materials for clinical care.”
In addition, he indicated that the donation is part of a shipment of nine tons of medical supplies, valued at almost 750,000 dollars and that they will continue to support the Venezuelan health sector.
“The president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, guarantees access for cooperation and assistance for the benefit of Venezuelans,” said the diplomat.
