The Venezuelan Seismological and Tsunami Warning Service (SSATV) reported that in the period from September 4 to 10, 2026, a total of 105 earthquake events were recorded in the national territory.

The seismic activities detected were concentrated in the region located between latitude 5° to 14° N and longitude 59° to 74° W, with quantities ranging from Mw 1.4 to 4.4, according to a report published by the Ministry of People's Power for Science and Technology.

These earthquakes were geographically distributed in three main areas of the country: the West (longitude 69° to 74° W), the Center (65° to 69° W) and the East (59° and 65° W).

Given the constant seismic activity in the country, the authorities reiterate that earthquakes cannot be predicted, so preventive planning constitutes the best defense tool for citizens.
