This Friday, October 3rd, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, emphasized that “it is regrettable how the situation we are going through today in Caribbean countries is due to the fact that Guyana has opened the door to the American invader, to militarist aggression in our region.”
In this regard, he argued that the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, “has warned what the presence of Exxon Movil means, funding the government of Guyana to promote military and warrior aggression from the United States, not only against Venezuela but in our Caribbean Sea.”
This was stated at the Yellow House, headquarters of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Venezuela, on the occasion of the closing ceremony of the International Conference “Colonialism, Neocolonialism and the Territorial Dispossessions of Western Imperialism”, led by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
Rodríguez highlighted the presence of the head of state in the Yellow House, just on the 126th anniversary of the fraudulent Arbitration Award of 1899 in Paris, “which left lessons for humanity. It was intended to seize an important area of almost 160,000 square kilometers of territory from Venezuela.”
He specified that the meeting discussed the historical causes of humanity, derived from the territorial distribution made by empires. “One of the bloodiest causes facing humanity today is the Palestinian cause,” he denounced.
Rodríguez also recognized the courage of the Palestinian people in the face of the criminal and cruel genocide committed by Israel.
On this topic, he stressed that “we all know what this compromise between the United States and the British meant, for stealing an extensive territory rich in gold, rich in oil, rich in gas, and which today is precisely being claimed by Exxon Mobil to finance a new cause, a new fraud that is brewing before the International Court of Justice, with the sole objective of giving away that territory to those who do not belong to it, which is Guyana”.
