The Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) kicked off, this Thursday, its 2025-2026 season with a full day of four games.

At the José Bernardo Pérez stadium in Valencia, Navegantes del Magallanes fell to Caribes de Anzoátegui 3-1.

Liarvis Breto was credited with the victory as a reliever, Diego Moreno saved it and Anthony Vizcaya took the defeat.

For their part, Aguilas del Zulia beat Tiburones de La Guaira 5 by 1, at the Luis Aparicio El Grande stadium in Maracaibo.

Local starter Andry Lara and six relievers combined to limit the visit to a single race.

The victory went to the pitcher Francisco Carrillo. While the defeat was borne by Zac Grotz.

Meanwhile, Bravos de Margarita won 6-2 over Leones del Caracas in the Opening Game held at the Nueva Esparta stadium in Guatamare.

Werner Leal, Bravos' first reliever, pocketed the victory and the Cuban Luis Miguel Romero the defeat.

At the José Pérez Colmenares stadium in Maracay, Tigres de Aragua dominated Cardenales de Lara 9-8.

Reliever Ronnie Williams, the eighth pitcher who paraded through the Aragüeño mound, ended up winning the match and Keone Kela took the defeat.
