With faith and tradition! Town of Turmero celebrated the Santo Niño de Atocha

The community of Villacastín, in the Casco Histórico
parish of Turmero, Aragua state, received hundreds of
devotees and faithful who visited the chapel of the Holy Child of Atocha to
thank him for the miracles received, for keeping them together, year after year, and
professing their faith in God, in addition to making individual and collective requests.
According to information from Venezolana de
Televisión, the Turmereños began the celebration with the Holy Mass
presided over by Father Alain Mendoza.
In addition, the organizer of the event, Donys
Graterol, said that this tradition dates back 86 years since the visit of the Santo
Niño de Atocha to the Villacastín community. “The mass and celebration of the Three Kings is
also taking place, which is now eight consecutive years old,
also singing birthdays, cutting cake and giving toys to
boys and girls who attend this activity year after year,” he said.
It should be noted that this celebration was accompanied by sports, recreational and cultural activities organized by the team of the Autonomous Institute for Sport (INADEMAR), the Youth Secretariat and the municipal culture office.
