21st FILVEN settled in Delta Amacuro amidst pages of history and traditions

The Delta Amacuro state hosted the 21st
edition of the Venezuelan International Book Fair (FILVEN) at the Andrés Eloy Blanco Central Public
Library, located in Tucupita.
The inauguration was led by the
Secretary General of Government, Suyibán Bermúdez, together with the president of the Andrés Eloy Blanco
Library, José González, who shared with the
audience this meeting, which brings together authors, publishers, booksellers and book and reading promoters.
Under the motto “Reading humanizes”, the
program will run until this Friday the 13th, with book presentations,
talks, conferences, workshops and various cultural expressions, as well as reading mediation
activities aimed at children and young people.
The editorial offer includes titles
such as The Dog and the Frog, Monte Ávila Editores Latinoamericana and Biblioteca
Ayacucho, publishing houses attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture.
This regional edition pays tribute to the writers Isabel Rodríguez, and Jorge Luis Rivas, whose works convey messages of reflection aimed at young people.
