Ambassador Lan Hu praised friendship between China and Venezuela after a new batch of humanitarian aid

The ambassador of the People's Republic of China accredited to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Lan Hu, celebrated this Saturday the arrival of a shipment of humanitarian aid from the Asian country to support those affected by the earthquakes that occurred last June 24 in the Latin American nation.
In a presidential pass, from the pier in Puerto Cabello, the Chinese diplomat highlighted that these are 87 machines and 1800 prefabricated houses, “that have been floating in the sea for almost 2 months, crossing oceans, because we are really far away the two countries, China and Venezuela, but we are very close in heart,” he said.
He pointed out that “these are not cold figures, they are the roofs for the people affected, they are the hope and strength to build their homes again, they are the sincerest friendship of a people of 1.4 billion inhabitants of China for the Venezuelan people.”
In this regard, he expressed his conviction that with the leadership of President Delcy Rodríguez and “with the participation of all the factors of the government, the private sector, the public sector, as well as the international community, Venezuela will be reborn as a much more prosperous country very soon.”
