The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, announced this Saturday that a housing plan will soon be activated for people in shelters due to past natural disasters, as well as for young people who want to start a family.
“I want to inform the country, because I know that many people were left homeless, but there are also people who have been in a shelter for years due to previous natural tragedies. I am asking the team that once we meet our goal with comprehensive camps, which I hope will be at the end of December, then we will also begin delivering to those who have been in a shelter for years,” he said from the state of La Guaira, during the delivery of rehabilitated housing.
He added that a housing plan for youth will also be incorporated, “for those who want to start a family and for families with children who are homeless. The issue of housing construction does not stop here in the post-earthquake period, no, we are going to go further because the issue of housing is a topic for many Venezuelans and many Venezuelans in the country,” he stressed.
