The National Assembly (AN) unanimously approved the Organic Law for the Speed and Optimization of Administrative Procedures, during the regular session this Thursday.

In his speech, the President of the Parliament, Jorge Rodríguez, formalized the decision of the Legislative Branch:
“It is approved unanimously under consideration. The Organic Law for the Speed and Optimization of Administrative Procedures has been declared sanctioned and is referred to the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice to rule on the constitutionality of its organic nature. May God, the Virgin, our Constitution and our laws accompany this instrument and may this law truly go and contribute to ending the viacrucis of Venezuelan women and Venezuelans at the box office. A hug and I congratulate you, deputies, for the approval of this law,” she said.

The Organic Law for the Speed and Optimization of Administrative Procedures establishes guidelines to simplify and update public administration procedures, reduce response times, eliminate duplicate procedures and move towards the digitalization of processes.

The instrument establishes uniform criteria for administrative action and requires State entities to review their requirements, modernize their systems and ensure that procedures are carried out under principles of efficiency, clarity and presumption of good faith.
