The fishing sector has become an important engine of the national economy, which, in addition to providing food, brings resources to the country, said the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.

“The fishing sector not only guarantees food for the people, it has also had a very important export component,” he highlighted during a meeting with fishermen from Guanta, Anzoátegui state, where he also highlighted the quality of the fish products that are exported from Venezuela to the world.

In this regard, he called on the country's sinners to join the great national pilgrimage to demand an end to the economic sanctions that have done so much damage to our country.

“We are on this pilgrimage for a Venezuela free of sanctions, weaving networks so that in national union we can free our country from economic sanctions. We must also consolidate peace in Venezuela, for that, unity is essential,” he stressed.
