The state of Anzoátegui has a very diversified economy, which, without the sanctions imposed on Venezuela, could become a development benchmark for the East of the country, said the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.

“Anzoátegui has a very diversified economy. Not only is it a power in oil and gas, it is also a power in tourism, fishing, agriculture, livestock,” he said in a video released on his Telegram channel.

In this regard, Rodríguez expressed his satisfaction at knowing, during the second day of the pilgrimage to demand the lifting of economic sanctions, “the deepest” of the economy of that town.
