The Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Daniella Cabello, highlighted that the Eulalia Buroz Commercial Port in the state of Anzoátegui, is one of the most important in the country, since it is the link with one of Venezuela's tourist destinations, such as Margarita Island.

In addition, within the framework of the second phase of the National Pilgrimage, he also highlighted the potential of the Anzoátegui state in terms of tourism, due to its natural beauty.

Cabello highlighted that the Eulalia Buroz Commercial Port has the capacity to carry “more than 2000 passengers a day”. In addition, he indicated that with the arrival of the Paraguaná Ship, it alone will be able to mobilize “more than 700 passengers, more than 130 vehicles and 10 cargo vehicles.”

“Without a doubt, this opens up a new connectivity route and with that new connectivity route, opening up growth, development and more opportunities for the tourism sector,” he emphasized.

At the same time, she said she was pleased to hold this meeting with representatives of the private sector, tour operators and merchants, “who continue to promote Venezuela, who continue to believe in the country's economic potential and development.”

For his part, the operations manager of the Paraguaná Shipping Company, Jaime Ossa Arango, thanked the authorities of the Bolivarian Government for the impetus and support they have given him for tourism operations in the entity.

In addition, he announced that the Paraguaná I Ferry is about to begin operations, thanks to the support of the National Government. In turn, it ratified the shipping company's commitment to continue promoting tourism activity in the entity.
