The Mega Robotics Center located in the Infocentro Anzoátegui Foundation, in conjunction with the Didactic Center for Science Teaching (CDEC), successfully completed the Introduction to Robotics and Programming workshop, given to students from the Dr. Rafael Antonio Fernández Padilla Educational Center.

This training experience, according to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), took place over three consecutive days with the objective of strengthening STEAM competencies in young people.

During the last two days of the workshop, the participants progressed in programming, learning to write and integrate codes in the explorer model of the Ultimate 2.0 kit, previously assembled by each team.

This process allowed students to understand how digital instructions are translated into movement, responses, and operation of robotic systems.

The training was enriched with an introduction to applied electronics, where young people explored components, circuits and fundamental principles that underpin the operation of robots.

Special emphasis was placed on the importance of electronics as a basis for developing own solutions, optimizing local resources and reducing dependence on commercial kits.

The closing of the workshop resulted in learning that transcends manuals and pre-established models, strengthening participants' creativity, critical thinking and technological capabilities.
