Aragua communities strengthen the protection of telecommunications networks

With the objective of strengthening the protection of telecommunications networks and ensuring the continuity of telephone and Internet services, CANTV is developing a training cycle in the state of Aragua aimed at spokespersons of the Technical Telecommunications Boards (MTT).

The initiative, according to a press release, promotes coordination between Popular Power, security agencies and the company, through training in preventive mechanisms against theft, vandalism and other actions affecting technological infrastructure.

Through information meetings, CANTV staff provide tools to identify components of telecommunications networks and strengthen community surveillance efforts. In addition, recent cases of damage to the infrastructure are analyzed and the protocols for action and communication with the Company and security agencies are explained.

Daniel Villegas, spokesman for the Pueblo Valiente Commune of the Girardot municipality, highlighted the importance of these training days. “Information will be multiplied in each sector to promote the collective protection of our technological infrastructure, which guarantees the communication of the entire population,” he said.
