President Rodríguez highlights community works in Petare ahead of the Popular Consultation

The President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, held a meeting with members of the popular power and territorial spokespersons of the “El Gran San Blas” Commune, located in Petare. During the day, the Head of State noted the progress made in local infrastructure works and the operation of an Open Air Market aimed at providing direct supplies to families in the sector.

“I deeply believe in the Venezuela that is reborn from its communities. In the Commune of El Gran San Blas de Petare, I shared with a community that transforms its needs into projects and solutions. I toured her works and the Open Air Market, an example of the work and organization of her people,” said the president on her Telegram channel.

In the same publication, the president reaffirmed the call for popular mobilization ahead of next month's electoral event, stating that “next October 18 is the National Popular Consultation. Everyone to participate!” , stressing that the role of organized communities is the fundamental engine for consolidating projects chosen directly by the people.

The activity served to confirm the progress of community works and the coordination between the National Government and the communal structures of Petare, reaffirming the commitment to continue promoting direct solutions for the benefit of Venezuelan families through participatory and leading democracy.
