President Delcy Rodríguez evaluated the electrical situation from the CND of Electric Energy

After her participation in the 81st session of the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), held in New York, United States, the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, evaluated the current electricity service situation.

In a video posted on social networks, the national president reported that, immediately upon arrival, she went directly to the National Center for Dispatch of Electric Power to evaluate the situation of the system in the face of the heat wave affecting the national territory.

During his inspection, he highlighted that electricity demand reached 16,400 megawatts, a figure not recorded since 2017, which he directly attributed to high temperatures, which have driven intensive use of air conditioning systems in homes.

In that sense, he called on the People to collaborate in saving energy, “we are going to be able to mitigate much more what is the effect of the Super Child. Together to work and never faint.”
