Artuki Exhibition opened at the Balcón de los Arcaya in Falcón

Room 1 of the Balcón de los Arcaya, in Falcón state, inaugurated the Artuki exhibition, an exhibition organized by the Department of Culture of the National Experimental University Francisco de Miranda (UNEFM) in homage to master Osterman Velásquez and Miriam Mejías.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the exhibition brings together more than 20 works of lithic painting belonging to the Marcos Eizaga collection.

During the inauguration, the Director of Culture of the UNEFM, Alexander Lugo, highlighted Velásquez's artistic legacy and the importance of disseminating his work.

In addition, the writer Euqueria Reyes, a great friend of Velásquez and Mejías, highlighted the honor of preserving the memory of the creator in Falcón and the world.

For his part, the director of Culture of Falcón, Inti Clark Boscán, highlighted the aesthetic value of the artist and the need to protect and study his work so that it can be declared heritage and serve as a reference for new generations. At the same time, he called on the public to visit the exhibition at the Arcaya Balcony.
