Authorities in the state of Aragua carried out the preventive closure of the passage to the town of Ocumare de la Costa, after the flooding of the Cuyagua River, which caused the flooding of a section of the road, after heavy downpours in the area this Friday afternoon.
In a statement, the governor of the entity reported that so far no significant damage has been reported, nor victims to regret, so it calls for calm and extreme caution in the face of the rainfall that persists in the entity, urging citizens to inform themselves through official channels.
The text indicates that all prevention protocols have been activated in the area, where Civil Protection personnel and State security agencies are still deployed, offering support to residents of the Aponte de Ocumare sector.
