Authorities oversee deployment of the Safe Holy Week 2026 device

The Deputy Minister of the Integrated Police System, M/G Elio Estrada Paredes, supervised the “Safe Holy Week 2026" security device installed at the Potocos toll booth, located in the Simón Bolívar municipality of the Anzoátegui state.
This was reported by the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace (MPPRIJP), through a press release in which it was detailed that the official explained that the purpose is for drivers and their families to feel safe on the different trunk and road arteries that cross the country, so that they can reach their destinations happy and safe to enjoy beaches and national parks during this holiday.
He also called on the people to respect road safety measures, the use of seat belts, the use of helmets for motorized vehicles and, above all, respect for speed limits.
The institutions participating in this road safety system include the National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT), the Bolivarian National Police (CPNB), the State Police and the entity's municipal police, VEN 911, the Bolivarian National Guard ( GNB) and other prevention agencies.
