The president of Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Hernán Canorea, reported that this Sunday, March 15, the television station will broadcast live the Professional Basketball Super League (SPB), as part of the process of renewing and expanding its sports programming.

The opening day will begin at 3:00 in the afternoon from the Polyhedrite, with the corresponding commitment to the Women's SPB, which will feature the narration of Luis Figueredo and the comments of Víctor Lara and the incidents from the board itself by Leonardo Berroterán.

Later, starting at 7:00 at night, the action will move to the VTV studio, where Robert Álvarez and Eisenhower Requena will be in charge of the SPB broadcast, with the production of Wilson Pinto.

Canorea highlighted in recent days that the incorporation of these sports content responds to the channel's commitment to Venezuelan fans.

“We will provide the space that sports deserve,” he said and announced that, in addition to basketball, other disciplines such as volleyball and possibly baseball will be gradually incorporated, with a view to bringing traditional events such as the Caracas-Magallanes classic to the screen.

“All resources are used to enrich our screen, to adapt to these modern times, with a consolidated platform since the arrival of Commander Hugo Chávez,” he said.
