“Today more than ever, Bolivar is not just an inspiration, it is a force that guides, guides and guarantees unity and victory,” said Blanca Eekhout, president of the Simon Bolivar Institute for Peace.

During the commemoration of the 243rd anniversary of the Liberator's birth, the official described the day as an act of reaffirming Bolivarian thought.

He argued that the legacy of the Liberator transcends to become a pillar of unity one month after the double earthquake.

“A difficult time, one month after that double earthquake that caused deep pain in our land but, as Bolívar taught us, Venezuela is growing in difficulties, in difficulties Venezuela is increasing, Venezuela is an example for humanity today,” said Eekhout from the museum grounds.

Eekhout stressed that recent experience demonstrates the capacity to sustain institutional stability and advance collective recovery.
