In order to follow up and consolidate the National Infrastructure Rehabilitation Plan, a working meeting was held between the sector vice president of Public Works and Services, Juan José Ramírez, and the Japanese specialist in structural engineering and seismic risks, Kit Miyamoto.

Ramírez announced that the repair of buildings with minor and moderate damage will be carried out through technical training in anti-seismic construction aimed at workers and masons from affected communities.

At the meeting, Miyamoto presented an operational balance sheet highlighting the operation of 14 temporary landfills for the transfer of excess material to a final collection center over the airport area.

In addition, he reported on the deployment through a team of 100 trained Venezuelan engineers who are evaluating houses and structures suitable for repair.
