Bolivarian Government began deployment of balance verification during Operation Holy Week 2026

The Ministry of People's Power for Industries and National Commerce, through its affiliated body, the National Autonomous Service for Standardization, Quality, Metrology and Technical Regulations (SENCAMER), began a deployment of visits aimed at verifying scales and other metrological controls in commercial establishments in the national territory, in connection with Operation Safe Holy Week 2026.

During the day, SENCAMER public servants verified the trade balances, in order for the Venezuelan people to obtain the precise amounts for those paid in stores, according to a press release from the Ministry of People's Power for Industries and National Commerce.

In addition, metrological controls were verified on prepackaged products, especially the Prepackaged Product Control (CPE) and the Uneven Net Content (CND) control.

The Ministry of Popular Power of Industries and National Commerce and its affiliated entities remain vigilant throughout the national territory to ensure the well-being of what the Venezuelan people consume so that they receive quality in every service or product they purchase.
