The Bolivarian Government commemorated Women's Month with a walk and a display of banners in Charallave, in the state of Miranda.

The mobilization started from the Tamanaco Shopping Center and went to Plaza Bolívar, where officials from various security agencies, workers from the Municipal Institute for Women and the Family, Women and the Family, community members and institutional representatives joined the event organized by the Cristóbal Rojas Police.

“We are commemorating women's month and making it visible that we are able to lead and consolidate the process that today we can call Bolivarian,” Hernández said from Plaza Bolívar,” said Mayor Yuhismar Hernández.

Hernández recalled that the Bolivarian Revolution has opened opportunities for women to assume strategic roles in public management and affirmed that this path will continue to be strengthened, stressing that Venezuelan women maintain an active role in consolidating community initiatives and in defending conquered rights.

In Miranda and the rest of the country, the celebration extends throughout the month, with activities aimed at highlighting female leadership in society, politics and the economy.

For 2026, the program foresees the launch of the Alegría con Nombre de Mujer festival, mobilizations and recognition events promoted by the Ministry of Popular Power for Women and Gender Equality, according to a press release from the Government of Miranda.
